Proactive skin care vs. something else for blackheads? Which should I use?

I have been thinking about trying Proactive skin care products. My biggest problem is blackheads and combination skin. (oily in T-zone dry elsewhere) I haven't heard whether this will work for my problems or not. Other than the blackheads my skin is pretty clear. I usually get a few spots right before/during my period though. Is it worth trying or is there a better option?Proactive skin care vs. something else for blackheads? Which should I use?
