Has anyone tried japanese skin care?

I have read some info on japanese skin care and how it's suppose to be really good for the skin because it contains some really beneficious ingredients like rice bran and stuff like that. It's suppose to make your skin lighter and prevent premature aging. Does anyone know if this is true?Has anyone tried japanese skin care?
I wouldn't say its better, its different.

The bleaching agent in it is typically kojic acid - which is derived from Mulberry leaves...it interferes with the bodies ability to convert the amino acid tyrosine into melanin...the effect is temporary, and quite mild.

Jason skincare has the same ingredients, and can be found at most health food stores....I cant remember the name of the products, but they have a yellow and orange package...

Asians all as crazy about pale skin the way westerners are crazy about tans...which is why so many asian skin care lines ';whiten'; skin...

Kanebo is one you might find on ebay, and it might surprise you, but Shoyeido, which is an upscale department store brand here, is something akin to Dove or Oil of Olay here in Japan, rather common inexpensive stuff - in either case, you can usually find it in Japanese grocers....keep in mind that Asian skin is typically much drier than caucasian skin because they have fewer oil glands per square inch - if you have oily skin, you might not like them at all.Has anyone tried japanese skin care?
never tried it i stick to the wave
I've tried japanese skin care lines. I like to use DHC their products are amazing. I love their cleansing oil.

Here's their website

http://www.dhccare.com/dhc/

So far in the US they don't really offer things to help lighten your skin but they do have alot of products to help prevent premature aging.

A Japanese Skin Care company you might want to try to lighten you skin is KOSE

Here's their websitehttp:

I've heard good things about their products. I plan to try their products in the future

Do jennifer flavin's skin care products really work?

Well I saw them on HSN and have never bought stuff on that channel before. Is it just hype? Man I was lured in. The self tanner and hair removal and moisturizers looked like miracle creams. Hence im skeptical. Have you tried them?Do jennifer flavin's skin care products really work?
I can't say whether they work or not. But my wife and I found out that most skin care products of that nature or source, as well as, what you find in drug stores, department stores and even in health stores have a lot of synthetic ingredients. Some of those ingredients are under suspicion. For example, a common ingredient found in skin care and some food is -paraben. Paraben come in many forms. They are in the product to prolong shelf life. But parabens have been found in breast cancer patients. It has not been proved there is a connection%26gt; But do you want to take a chance until the jury comes in?

I am going to give you an article on this subject that opened our eyes as to what we were putting on our skin. As a man I use much less but I don't want any bad stuff in it.

Here is the article. Read it carefully. Go to the website for much more information. This is the only place, bar none, that I buy any kind of skin care and supplements. This is because I did my research and found out that this is a very ethical, honest company. You decide.

Paraben Free Products for Skin Care - What is Paraben %26amp; What Can It Do to YOU?

Paraben free products are better and safer. Skin care products containing parabens have been found to be potentially dangerous to your health. You sure don't want parabens in anything.

What is paraben? It is the most commonly used synthetic preservatives.

There is more than one. There is a whole class of them. They ensure a long shelf life in cosmetics by inhibiting the growth of harmful bacteria, yeast and mold in beauty products.

“Natural” cosmetics use mainly plant-based and naturally-derived ingredients. They are formulated with little or no parabens.

So that's all good and well, but how can you tell if your products contain parabens? Here are some steps you can take.

1. Look on the label for the following ingredients: methylparaben, propylparaben, isoparaben, or butylparaben. They are all parabens used in cosmetics.

2. Find out which company makes the products you use. See if they have an ingredient list available on the product or on their web site.

3. Try emailing or calling the company and asking them if their products contain parabens.

If your cosmetic company is not forthcoming with this information, you may want to purchase your products from another company.

Some women worry that their cosmetics will not last as long if these artificial ingredients are not used. Companies can use alternative stabilizers. Parabens are just easier to obtain and cheaper to use.

There are companies that have committed to being paraben-free. These companies do not use parabens for preservation, but instead use other procedures, packaging choices, and ingredients to achieve product stability.

Paraben free products are the wave of the future. Companies will be forced by health conscious consumers to take the natural and healthy approach in manufacturing their products instead of the cheap and easy way.

Why is Paraben Free products important to you? It's a movement that's just beginning and will change the way cosmetics and other products are manufactured and packaged. And now please visit the XtendSkinCare website listed below for updated information skin care products, the ingredients to avoid and where to get safe, paraben-free products.

Why do you white people care about peoples skin?

I saw a question of course from a white person a skin why do black people want white features like a skinny waist and blonde wigs. First of all thats races so dont be doing that cause i know the black people feel offensed and i do so dont worry about or skin. Why do you white people care about peoples skin?
I'm pretty sure I haven't 'offensed any black people whenever I asked them relevant culture related questions. People actually DO want to know about physical characteristics sometimes, they aren't trying to be offensive.

Also...you seem to be stereotyping all white people as those ';racist whities.'; How do you know that doesn't offend us? Some of us have worked hard, putting our blood and sweat so to speak into cultural relations in the area where we live, as there are a few tensions between the First Nations and the whites here. Don't be a hypocrit. Why do you white people care about peoples skin?
okay, it's ';racist'; not ';races'; and you can't feel offensed, but you be offended. And calling people ';you white people'; is not any better than what you're saying about what ';them white people'; supposedly do.
lexi (the first poster) you're an idiotic child, go suck on a binky.

The truth is some people are just ignorant and it was probably a high school child that posted it, that is unaware of the real world. Ignore the idiots.
not all white people do, I go to a school where the people are racist against whites, I guess it all depends on where you live =/
Well, that's just one person. Don't be assuming that's how everyone feels, because that's not true.

    :)
c'mon man don't be a hypocrite by saying all this **** that just make you just as racist.
Right now you are the one who makes an issue about the skin color

    btw

you should practice what you preach
youre being stupid. why do you care what we care about anyways?

get a life.. this isnt a question.
    You're doing the same thing by saying ';you white people.';

    Work on your grammar please.
you'd be amazed at how many people aren't actually racist.

but plz. wrk on grmmr. :/
Well, first of all learn some grammar...I could barely understand your question. Second, who cares? People can say what they want. You're being racist yourself.
well dont be sayin you white people okayy

    and dont worry about it.
It isn't all white people, just a select few ignorant ones.
can u speak a little more articulately? retard
you're too generalizing. and know how to spell the word racist first.
    that's racist

To tell you the truth, i have mild acne and havent had barely any breakouts since i started using '; Daniel Kerns'; acne medication.

You cant buy the stuff in store but you can check it out at acne.org

The acne medication Daniel Kern sells is benzoyl peroxide which is the most common treatment for acne. The medication comes in a lotion cream style so its easy to apply and doesnt make your face white. The best part about his products is that their big bottles, unlike store brands. You can spend $75 for a 3 month supply of Daniel Kern acne treatment, Daniels lotion %26amp; skin cleanser.Whats the best skin care out there?
    Jackie,

Try first a cleanser/toner combo for your skin. I use Coonobabe Pepino cleanser followed by their Manzanillo toner for my oily skin. Wash with cleanser then pat dry with clean towel, apply toner and let air dry. If you have a different skin type they have other cleanser/toners combinations.

What is your skin care routine?

what is your skin care routine and how do you keep you skin clear? i have trouble with acne and dry skin (worste possible conbination ) and what skin care products would you recomend? What is your skin care routine?
I have gone to lots of skin drs. and spent so much money and nothing worked except only lots of water, plus eating raw fresh fruits and veggies and avoiding harsh soaps and lotions. I truly have found I must eliminate the yummy things from my diet, like chocolate and white breads and cakes. I wash my face with aveeno oatmeal powder and warm water - I make a mask to let it dry and take off with warm water. I can't believe how amazing Pepto Bismal works for me. I am fair and sensitive skinned worse than anyone I know and I ridded my entire face of every blemish with Pepto Bismal. It has salicylic acid which is in acne creams but for some reason it doesn't aggravate it really heals. I don't drink it, I put it on like its an overnight repair lotion and it smells so good. It won't dry your skin like alot of skin creams since It is edible. it doesn't have alcohol in it I don't think. Avoid alcohol and benzoyl peroxide if you have dry skin. What is your skin care routine?
i use clear.now, it's great for all skin types. it's salicylic acid and sodium chlorite not benzoyl peroxide so it won't make your face any drier or make it peel.

You might want to consider seeing a dermatologist. Sometimes they can prescribe you something stronger than what you can purchase over the counter. Other than that, just make sure you keep your skin clean by washing your face twice a day and never sleeping with any products (like makeup) on your face. Unfortunately, some do have skin problems regardless of what they do. But seeing a dermatologist is a start. Good luck.
To be honest every one is different and adapt to different products, it is just best to experiment with different stuff on your own.

From my experience, Clearasil, oxy and olay made things worse. I went with a facial scrub doing it once a day, Keep your sheets and covers clean and if you wear makeup,,STOP! it only clogs the pours worse.

    Good luck!
Wash your face regularly, drinks lots of water and have you tried aspirin mask? it works amazing on me.. it's very cheap and easy, just mix 3 aspirin with couple drops of water to make some kind of paste, and put in on your face like a mask, leave it on for 15 min and scrub it onto your face gently as you rinse it off.. i barely get anymore acne now..

    good luck!

Skin Care products that kill acne and blackheads( anything except proactive.) Thanks! What are good skin care products?
I've been having good results with the Biore line in the shine control line (green bottles). The size has been reduced and I've had fewer breakouts. Of course it helps to actually use the product on a daily basis. My dermatologist told me that my skin was lacking moisture and creating acne as a result, but everything he was giving me prescription wise was burning my face so when he told me to use Cetaphil moisturizing lotion over the counter for a wind burn, a result of using one of the prescriptions, and it worked better than what he gave me. I dumped the dermatologist and started using Cetaphil, Avon Moisture 24, and Biore products. I would recommend Biore or Cetaphil products.

I'm a little confuse....If I want to be a skin care specialist, do I go to a cosmetology school or an esthetician school?
esthetician - However many cosmetology schools offer an esthetician program too. Below is an example of one of those schools.

If you have acn prone skin should you look for oil control skin care products or oil absorbing products?

first things first. are you oily? and if so, then how soon after washing your face do you notice oil?

second, what facial cleanser are you using, are you exfoliating, are you using a toner, and lastly...even though you are an oily skin type you still need moisture, and for that i recomend using an oil control moisturizer that also has either an AHA or BHA acid in it (keep away from eyes, though it wont exactly cause harm) so as to offer continuous exfoliation throughout the day.

any other questions about details and what not, let me know.

I need to know if almay skin care products are any good?

i normally use clinique skin care products but it is making my skin break out and not really worth the money

    so does almay work?

opinoins please?I need to know if almay skin care products are any good?
well it really depends on what type of skin you have and also the current weather conditions you are having, but it really depends on you, I mean if the product woks than go ahead and buy them, Almay worked for me but again it depends on you.I need to know if almay skin care products are any good?
i used the Almay facial cleansing wash and it broke my face out. I called Almay and they sent me a refund.
How about trying AVON? I can help! Email me your skin type and I can give you info on the types of products you can use. You don't have to use Avon, but it is only the best cosmetic company in 5 continents....
I use Almay Eye-Makeup Remover and it is the best--not oily or greasy, and works like a charm. I have not tried the products yet, but the line is very cheap so it shouldn't cost much just to try it.
like everyone is saying, everyones skin is different and the weather may also affect your skin. i personally use proactive but im still looking around it seems to be drying out my skin now that its cold. if youre worried about wasting money on a product you might want to check and see if they have a product guarantee or some type of customer satisfaction guarantee. also check if they have a trial size even though it might not be the best value if you end up liking it you will end up saving some money if you decide you dont like it. if youre patient enough and up to it you can always try ebay when you want to try a new product, just make sure it is NEW in box or wrapper. also check out makeupalley.com for reviews on skincare products and they even have a swap section.
I am not sure about almay, but my facialist says not to use anything with fragrance in it. That will cause you to break out! I use Dermalogica but it is a bit on the steep side once you buy the product line. She also recommends Neutrogena!

    Good Luck!
No but pro-active is because my sister had bad acne and her face is so clear
Everyone has different skin. Try Almay, if it works for you, stick with it. If not, shop around.

What should be my skin care steps after my facial? I mean at home regimen, for oily skin? Till my next facial?

Depending on your skin type, here are some great masks to try. For oily skin use some plain Milk of Magnesia, rub it on and let dry, then rinse with lukewarm water. It absorbs oil wonderfully!

For Normal/combination skin mix one egg and 1/2 cup cooked instant oatmeal and a teaspoon olive oil until smooth. Spread on your face and leave 15 min then rinse.

For dry skin, mix one egg yolk, one teaspoon honey and a teaspoon olive oil and some vitamin E oil if you have it. Smooth on and leave on for 15 min. , rinse in lukewarm water and pat dry. If your skin is a bit dry you can put a dab or two of either olive oil, or any other light oil, or plain crisco if you want something heavier, on your moist skin after washing or a mask and your face is set without the $$ some people spend for the same look.

    Home remedy for oily skin

Fruit acids have shown a positive effect in oily skin treatment. They remove oil from the skin and yet retain the moisture. Home remedies such as cucumber juice, lime juice and yogurt are effective in keeping oily skin under control. A mask of Aloe Vera, crushed strawberries and yogurt is an astringent for oily skin. Keep it on for about 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. Some simple home remedies for oily skin:

    1. Puree 1 egg white, 1-tsp. Lemon juice, 1-tsp. Mint and 陆 cucumber and apply it on the face for about 15 minutes.

    2. A puree of fresh tomatoes works wonders on oily skin.

    3. A facemask of tomato, lemon juice and oats must be applied on the cheeks, forehead and chin. Scrub your face with warm water. This home remedy for oily skin is ideal for blemishes.

    4. A clay mask is yet another home remedy for oily skin since it draws out excess oil.

    5. If your skin is excessively oily, mix in a few drops of eau de cologne. This not only helps keep oiliness away but also helps in refining the pores of the skin by acting as astringent, thereby preventing acne.

Take a diet that is rich in proteins, with plenty of leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. Restrict sugar and high-fat foods and junk food. Supplement your food with wheat germ, nutritional yeast and whole grains, beans and nuts. Drink plenty of water to keep the skin hydrated and flush out toxins.

    Make up for oily skin

Choose cosmetic and facial care products specifically designed for oily skin. Use oil-free moisturizers for a shine-free complexion. You can use an antiseptic day cream before applying makeup to oily skin. This will keep sebaceous secretions under control. Makeup for oily skin hinges on creating a matte effect.

You must use foundations that block out shine and non-pore clogging formula. Use concealer to hide blemishes and spots. Loose powder can keep you looking fresh all day long and absorb the excess oil too. Most women with oily skin cant do without this makeup item. Powder blushes work well on oily skin than cream blushers.

    Treatment for oily skin

There is no magical cure for oily skin. Regular care and appropriate treatment of oily skin can go a long way in keeping it clean and blemish free. Massage your face with upward and outward motions when cleansing it. Using warm water to dissolve skin oil while washing it is a good treatment for oily skin. But do not use very hot water as it can strip the skin of essential oils. Do not expect results overnight. What is required is a holistic treatment of oily skin - internally and externally.

    # White or pink clay masks gently cleanse oily skin of excess oil. The darker brown clay masks are stronger and more effective on very oily skins. Apply a clarifying face mask couple of times a week.

    # Aromatherapy oils such as lemon, rosemary and cedarwood are said to be effective in treating oily skin. A few drops of any of these oils combined with lanolin can be massaged into the skin.

    # Topical Vitamin derivatives with ingredients such as tretinoin and isotretinoin are prescribed by dermatologists to tackle sensitive oily skins.

    # Products containing Benzoyl Peroxide also form part of the treatment for oily skin. They unplug pores and reduce bacteria.

    # Antibiotic creams and lotions such as erythromycin and clindamycin are effective in treating blemished oily skin.

    # Lotions containing AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) can help oily skin become softer and smoother.

You can also use Vitamin E oil, which is known to improve skin conditions. Buy Vitamin E capsules from any drug store in your local area. This method is excellent, and is almost guaranteed to get rid of acne scars.Log on to http://tipsfromruby-acne.blogspot.com/ for a few home made tips to heal acne .

maybe you should limit your time on the computer and get more rest that may help with your skin.
Cucumbers work for me, and have you tried using a different moisturiser ? You could be allergic to something in the one you used.
the thing it you are onmsn too long take some brakes and go outside and get some fresh air..

Cucumbers do work to lighten the skin around the eyes but they are not as good at moisturizing. Try Neutrogena Triple Defense. You should avoid the sun like the plague, because it causes wrinkle around the eyes.

  • Does anyone know any good resources for ';face skin care'; ?

I'm looking for some detailed beauty tips specifically information about skin care targeted to the facial areaDoes anyone know any good resources for ';face skin care'; ?
I'm really into keeping my face clean and my skin healthy. these are things i do:

    1. Drink lots of water, keeping your skin hydrated is really really

    important

    2. wash your face twice daily. make sure to cleanse, tone, moisurize. i am going to sound like a spokes woman for pro-activ but really, it works amazing. i use their 4 step system everyday-plus their mask(which is a miricle worker) and their make-up. i don't have bad blemish issues, but it feels so nice and leaves my skin so soft im hooked-really try it

    3. wear make-up that wont clog your pores, so no clay based make-up, like i said before, try proactiv make up, it protects your skin and has a really nice smooth finish

    4. make sure you use spf 15 atleast, if not higher, your skin will really thank you

    5. stay away from crappy food, makes you not only look crappy, but feel crappy

    6. exercise, sweating is really good for you, its like a natural detox for your body, leaves you feeling refreshed

    7. smile, its hard to look bad when your happy.

good luck, i hope this helps.

Is 14 too young to use anti aging skin care products?

your body now develops to become an adult, if u put anti aging skin products u will force your body to take harmful chemicals full of pseudo-estrogens and as a result of a long term use u will have hormonal imbalance, your body will have to much of estrogen's which they promote faster aging, irregular periods, acne, depression, varicose veins, and other. It is better to eat very healthy lots of vegetables, fruits, less cooked food, like meat and fish and more milk, cheese, yogurt, grains. That will give u all the vitamins and nutrients your body needs to develop healthy , and to stay young for a really long time, if today 40 years old people look like late 20s, that means u will be and look young even at your 50s, and the most important thing is to believe your are young, and feel you are young. Respect your body, and your body will respect u.Is 14 too young to use anti aging skin care products?
Yes. Think of an antiaging product as medicine, because it is basically medicine for the skin. If you misuse medicine, it can have harmful side effects and results. If you use anti aging creams right now, they might even speed up the aging process when you are older. So save money, and just use a regular moisturizer everyday. Is 14 too young to use anti aging skin care products?
Yes, it is.. But you can use Vitamin E capsules on your face, this helps alot, it is never to early to start taking care of your skin. You have to pop the capsule and use the oil on your face, this helps with dark circles and wrinkles. I know you do not have that problem. and always use sun block spf 15 or more.. That is a guarantee.. Good Luck!!
The only anti-aging product that you should be using is sunscreen. If you sunbathe, you're only begging for skin cancer and terrible wrinkles once you get older. Stay away from the tanning beds and use sunscreen everyday, and you will look great when you're older!
no i am 13 years old and sometimes i wonder the same thing yes it is a little because your skin is beautiful the way it is wait till you get about 30 or older unless you have an skin problem
No!! some Dermatologists recommend anti- aging products at birth! Truth is, you're always gonna get older and so if you start using the products now it'll definitely delay aging
yes... i talked to a skin care pro and she said it can actually speed up the skin aging process when you are older. and plus why would you need is now?
No.. but the product should be gentle so it doesn't put tones of chemicals into your skin and ruin it. I would start at age maybe 17 or 20 though.
'Yes . your still very young
Yes, there's no need to use them if your still a teen..
    Yes
uh yeah why would you need that at 14

What are your ';MUST HAVE'; make-up and skin-care items?

for specific needs such as oily/dry/combo skin/hair, moisturization, creating long lush lashes, soft full lips,

long strong nails/hair, crease-proof, long lasting wear,

smooth feet and elbows, treatment products, wrinkles/stretchmarks/blemishes/dark circles.

please list specific names/brands/colors of products and what they do for you- products you swear by.What are your ';MUST HAVE'; make-up and skin-care items?
for soft lips Lucus' paw paw ointment is my savoir. im addicted to the stuff!

mineral foundation is the way to go for nice, flawless skin.

L'ACTION cosmetique eye bag minimizer is a miracle worker for bags under ur eyesWhat are your ';MUST HAVE'; make-up and skin-care items?
I MUST HAVE St. Ives apricot scub in the morning and Clearasil at night to remove all my make up. This is the best routine I've found so far. I use clean and clear moisturizer, since it is oil free, and I've got oily skin. Take vitamins to help with strong nails and hair, they work wonders. I use a cheap rimmel lip gloss and chapstick, but my lips are always smooth-so I'll never change that. I like Mary Kay concealer for my circles, it is the best I've found. And for moisturizing my body, I swear by L'oreal gradual bronzing lotion-makes you look thinner, all while taking care of your skin!!
I use a product called AcneFree which is basically a Proactiv knock-off. They have a regular three-step kit but you can also buy just a big bottle of the cleanser (Step One), which is what I get. It is like 5 bucks and it has totally saved my complexion (except for the obvious hormone-related breakout).

    I have combination skin (normal-oily).
okay this question should be fun to answer

this is my daily beauty routine:

    Morning Routine

    1. i use noxcema face pads and wipe off my face

    2. use a gentle astringant, i have really bad blackheads so i focuse the liquid wherever i have them

    3. i usually use a lotion of some sort.... i love elizibeth arden... it is very light weight and i use it on my face

    4. then i lotion up my body with Bath and Body Works... i love their pearberry body lotion. it leaves my skin soft and smelling good.

    5. then i put on my make up. for my foundation i love covergirls clean products. they have noxcema in them so they leace my skin feeling fresh and healthy. i also wear eyeliner and mascara/ lashblast by covergirl... i think.

    My night routine

    1. i take a shower and shave my legs.

    2. after that i put lotion on my legs and wear sweatpants... you get the softest legs ever doin that. oh and before i shave i lather m y legs up with hair conditioner. i t softens the hair follicles.

    3. if my hands are dries out i put vaseline on them and i put socks over my hands.

    4. i put vaseline on my lips for soft supple lips... i also use carmex... because i some times get coldsores.

NUMBER ONE RULE FOR BEING BEAUTIFUL---DRINK PLENTY OF COLD WATER

Wash your hair in distilled water each morning. and do the following. Do not use soap or anything else. The itchy will stop.

    Beauty must come from within.

Do you want just pretty skin or do you want a beautiful mind and body.

If you want beautful skin then you continue to use the stuff your using.

IF YOU WANT A BEAUTIFUL MIND AND BODY THEN FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.

I know you will not except this but this is the very best and is not on the market.

First throw out all that other stuff. That chemical factory

Go to wally world and buy distilled water by the gallons lots of it. Use this water to eat drink and bathe in. Forget the shower and tub unless you use distilled water in the tube. That will take about 20 gallons each use. That is kinda costly. Use one quart of distilled water and a wash cloth that has not been washed in the landuary with soap (new if possible). DO NOT USE SOAP ON YOUR BODY. ITS A CHEMICAL FACTOR.

When you are finished washing your body you will see all that dead skin in the water.

Do this twice a day for 10 days and watch your hair and skin slowly start glowing as you clean out your system.

Also start drinking vegie juice and orange juice consentrate mixing one can of distilled water with one can of orange juice consentrate. The vegie juice mix distilled just enought to wrench out the can and fill the jar you are using. Do not use plastic it has a liner that harms the body functions. If you are using a 1/2 gallon jar to one can of vegie juice then fill the jar with distilled water. There is one other thing you must do. This is the hardest. Clean up your thinking process. Think yourself as a very beartiful girl (lady) and when you look in the mirror that is what you see. Be proud of your mind and body. A HAPPY BEAUTIFUL GIRL (LADY) think good thing about yourself and about others. Find good things to say about others. What you sow you reap. Think how wonderful, happy you are THIS WILL HELP SET YOUR MIND AND BODY IN TO A POSITIVE STATE so the cleaning process will work more effective.

I mix two one quart cans in a one gallon jar and then add enought distilled water to fill the jar.

I am a male of many years and I can not keep the ladies (young and senior) away. They all seem to want to hang around me. I like the attention but some times I would like to be alone.

By the way here are some of the side effects you will incounter. You will soon stop wanting red meat naturally. Don't push it, just let it happen. You will loose the desir for soft drinks, you will loose the desire for coffee you will soon stop eating heavy foods of every kind. Your blood presure will become stable and your blood system will become clean. Your energy will increase 10 to 100 times and you will find the gentlemem will be wanting to hang out around you. You will become very content with the beautiful girl you are.

IF YOU ARE NOT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL (LADY) NOW YOU WILL SOON BE. By the way love yourself.

How to care for acne skin?

So I'm like really blur on how to get rid of the acne in my skin. I wan it to go FAST!!! We're having school holidays now for 2 months and I badly want the pimples to be gone by the time school reopens. It'll be my last year next year and I don't want to be remembered as pizza face!

Please, please give me tips or ways to care for acne skin stuff like how many times to cleanse my face, the usage of mask, scrubs and any other things that you can think of!!!How to care for acne skin?
Hey there. I had acne horribly as a teen. Let me tell you. ^^ Now first you msut understand that acne starts as an internal problem - the pimples are just a symptom of a greater problem. You need to eat healthily - don't eat too few calories or nutrients or too many as both have hazardous effects on the skin thus resulting in inflamed unhappy skin.

Now my suggestion is to eat foods rich in antioxidants which are naturally good for you and your skin. Green tea, white tea, and water are excellent choices along with raw fruits and vegetables. Next you should be taking a vitamin supplement. There's this formula at Walgreens called ';Nature's Cure'; for men and women - it has these pills which are homeopathic herbal supplements (aka vitamin tablets.) The box is about 10$ or less and it comes with a cream. I'd chunck the cream.

Seriosuly, all those topical acne products do nothing for the skin other than dry it out and aggrevate it. Serisouly. A good skin regimen is a cleanser specific to your skin type, a toner and a moisturizer. Use in that order at a maximum of twice a day. Now my suggestions on products would be the Almay line as it's color coded by skin type and is a full system. Although it can be a tad over priced for drugstore brand stuff.

Also use a gentle chemical peel once a week ( a scrub is too rough for acne prone skin and can cause other problems and make acne worse) such as Olay Thermal Scrub which isn't a scrub at all. Heh.

It has a mild amount of glycolic acid (this stuff will lightly slough off dead skin - dead skin is major cause of acne as the oils produced by the skin mix with the dead skin creating this bacteria infested almost ';cheese'; known as sebum or smegma in the pore) so look for stuff with glycolic acid to help your skin renew it's self.

If you have body acne then might I suggest the same regimen but a little tougher products? Also make sure your towels are always clean when you bathe or shower and that your clothes including your bra are always fresh and clean each time you wear them. Also wash your bedding every two days and alternate between headphones or use earbuds. One more suggestion is to either chunk foundation entirely or use just a loose powder with a large fluffy brush. You should soak your makeup tools in an alchohol and water solution once a week to kill bacteria.

The things that I have listed are the most common reasons for acne to occur and I hope that you'll take these steps towards healthier skin and I promise if you follow what I've outlined here you're problem will be solved. =dHow to care for acne skin?
Wash your face regularly .But don't wash several times in a day.Don't concentrate that you've got the acne .But have to concentrate that you can get rid of them anyway before your school reopen.Avoid from sunlight .Do exercises regularly.Drink water as much as you can.Eat vegetables more than as before. As well as you have to get sleep properly at night .Don't worry about them.
    Homoeo is best 4 this.

U can search ur own homeo med FREE @ http://abchomeopathy.com
at night put tooth paste on your acne and it will dry it up
Be sure not to wash too many times a day. That can dry your skin out too much, which can be bad. The use of a good exfoliant, I reccomned St. Ives, and some kind of facial medicine. Like Oxy. Both twice a day.

What is good skin care product?

I have used Neutrogena, Mary Kay and ProActive.

    I need something new!!

Are there any products out there that maybe produce great results that perhaps I have NOT tried. What is good skin care product?
I used to like Clean and Clear products, they have a few products with 10% benzoyl peroxide, which is supposed to hinder blackheads. Now I use Clinique cleanser, Olay moisturizer and random drugstore toner. I'm pretty sure Clinique has acne products as well. What is good skin care product?
It really depends on what your skin care needs are. For oily skin with blemishes, Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser is great. The Olay Regenerist line is excellent for drier skin. For combination skin, anything that clear pores, blackheads or reduces dead skin cells does the trick - just keep it natural because combo skin tends to be more sensitive.
I am African-American and use Palmers Cocoa Butter Soap on my face. It really smooths out hyperpigmentation and marks. It also doesnt leave a tight feeling when washed off.

Also Try some vitamin C moisturizer. I heard it inhibits the formation of melatonin leading to a brighter more fresher face.
I tried them all; the most expensive stuff as well as the drugstore products. And I can't believe myself, but love all the ';Cetaphil'; products...cheap and just so good, my skin is better than ever.

It just shows you how the simple things in life work best ;-)

Well, hopefully this will help but I don't know if it's your whole body or just a parts of skin that is causing problems. But anyways. I had a dry patch on my face that was always flaky. It would itch too, the more I scratched it would get worse, and I was really fearing that I was going to cause a scar cuz I was scratching so much that I was actually discoloring my skin. I tried lotion to but it barely worked. The number one thing I had to do was stop scratching it and let it heal and also I rubbed vitamin E Oil on it and then I applied Aquaphor (it's like vasoline). I would also use Aveeno products, they can be pricey but this brand is good for people with skin problems like severe dry skin or eczema. Hope it works for you.How do you take care of irritating skin?
It sounds like psoriasis. Go to webmd and read about it.
go to the doctor they will give u this special cream
plenty of fluids adds moisture to your skin. if lotion doesn't help better avoid it. avoid scratching as it aggreviate the itch more. try applying vit.E
There's a 0.5 steroid cream called hydroval (i use it) and it gets rid of skin irratations.. It's the weakest steroid crem there is (its over the counter.. found at shoppers.. and probably other dug stores) .. anything stronger thins the skin.. But a doctor would know more.

I'm thinking about getting Proactive but there are all these commercials for different skin care products and they all say they're better then Proactive. So which skin care product is truely the best one out there?Choosing best skin care product?
You need three right products to combat acne.

A foaming face wash (clean and clear and neutrogena both make goods ones).

A 1-2% BHA lotion, liquid or gel (aka salicylic acid -- http://www.associatedcontent.com/article鈥?/a> )

And then either pure tea tree oil or 5% benzoyl peroxide.

I use it with the Lei Pure Alohi 100% Antioxidant booster powder. The Antioxidants have really helped clear up my skin. You will not be dissapointed!
Different acne treatments work differently for different people ;-) but I have compiled some info on Proactiv for you, based on reported experience:

    Proactiv Negatives

    ===================

    - irritating

    - dry out skin

    - expensive to keep having it sent to you month after month

    - clear face up, but as soon as you stop using it the acne might come back

    - it bleaches the cloth...

    - doesn't seem to work as well on blackheads

    - skin became darker

    - temporarily red in areas

    - slight burning sensation when applying toner/repairing lotion

    Proactiv Positives

    ===================

    - really does work

    - clears your face up pretty quickly

    - leaves your face feeling soft

    - reduce the appearance of pores

Mary Kay cosmetics has been the #1 brand of skin care for the last 13 years. They have many different combinations of skin care to exactly meet what you need, and you get a personal consultant. For acne I would recommend the Velocity skin care, I have heard miracle stories from people who have used it. All of their products have a 100% guarantee too.
I believe the next big thing is going to be Votre Vu! This company is launching a new all natural French skin care line in September. The products derive from an 80 year old family owned business that has partnered with Votre Vu to bring the products to the states. I'd be happy to provide samples once we launch. We are talking Sisley quality at 1/3 of the price!
i have alot of customers tell me they used proactive and it didnt work for them..i love clinique.. u are suppose to do three steps to create the perfect balance of oil and water on the face. but when u go to the counter u get skintyped and they recommend products based on ur skin type and concerns..dont get something for acne if u dont have acne. just get something thats goin to control oil but yet keep ur skin moisturized.

Is the Skin care industry really corrupt or do products really exist that have shows u longterm RESULTS?

If washing ure face w/dove just as good, I'm NOT about to spend hundreds of dollars on looong lists of toxic chemicals.

But do high-quality skin care products..lotions, washes, scrubs, mud stuff, facials...(perhaps organic products?)- the ones that can back their claims - make a difference?

If a certain brand or if certain home remedies actually made a TANGIBLE difference in how your skin looks for the LONG-TERM, please let know.

Please dont use this as an opportunity to market your products, I'm looking only for objective evidence.

Thanks tons!Is the Skin care industry really corrupt or do products really exist that have shows u longterm RESULTS?
Over the counter topical products are temporary if anything. Long term skin care comes from eating the right foods and vitamin supplements, getting good sleep, processing and relieving stresses, being vigilant about wearing 50+ sunscreen every day, drinking enough water so your pee is clear and changing your pillowcase every other day!

The only over the counter topical skin care product that makes a difference is sunscreen.

The uber topical products used by licensed Estheticians for micro-peels and dermabrasion make a tangible difference and are kinda long term (if the definition of long term is under 2 years) After your treatment they will tell you to never face the sun without sunscreen and a hat and to drink lot's of water. Is the Skin care industry really corrupt or do products really exist that have shows u longterm RESULTS?

I have dry skin and have fought with rosacea all my life. I have been in search a product that works on my skin, I am now 37 and I finally found it. I love Clean %26amp; Clear products for face (I especially love the foaming cleanser)!! I also love Dermadoctor (at Sephora) for body...it's expensive, but very much worth it.
I have found that Clinique products have worked well for my skin (that's mostly all I use). I can honestly see a difference between their products and other soaps. But I've also found that increasing my water intake and cutting out soda does wonders for my skin.

Good skin care routine for combination skin?

I am only 13 so I dont need anti-aging stuff!!! I have a few pimples around my hairline and only one or two on my forehead. The rest of my skin is dry. I need to get rid of pimples and make my skin moisturized. Thanks!!!Good skin care routine for combination skin?
Well, you should start with a gentle, oil-free cleanser and use that morning and night. the next step is a toner, witch hazel is a cheap one that can be bought at most stores, and is very natural, so it shouldn't upset your skin too much. finally you will need to moisturize, and i would suggest a moisturizer for combination skin, but be sure to get oil-free to help prevent against more pimples. Do this routine morning and night everyday. Occasionally you might want to exfoliate with a scrub to get rid of dry skin, but not too often or it will irritate your skin. For the pimples around your hairline, at night use a spot treatment on them. I would suggest something with salylicc acid, because that is less drying than benzyol peroxide.

How to precautiously take care of our skin before going to chlorinated water in swimming pool? ?

I came to know that chlorinated water of the swimming pool will decolor our skin and make the melanin pigments more.. How to get rid of this problem.. Please suggest...How to precautiously take care of our skin before going to chlorinated water in swimming pool? ?
Did you hear this from a dermatologist? If you ';came to know'; something so scientific, it must have been from from someone practicing medicine.

I own a small pool business and when a swimming pool is maintained properly (1-3ppm free chlorine), there is no harm to the skin.

If chlorine levels exceed (10ppm) (*ppm= parts per million), there is potential for hair and skin damage.

Suggestions for precautionary methods. 1. Make sure to rinse off before using a pool, then shower with soap after using a pool. 2. If you're really concerned, purchase chlorine test strips at your local pool supply store and take them with you to the pool. 3. Limit the amount of time you spend in the water.

Hope this helps. How to precautiously take care of our skin before going to chlorinated water in swimming pool? ?
Don't think you can do much before swimming.

Does decolor in your meaning is becoming more tan? If so I don't think you can avoid it.

However, after swim you can get rid of the chlorine by taking a shower with soap as soon as possible.

How Can I Take Care of My Skin?

I want to take better care of my skin. My complexion is not so great, and I want to take better care of the skin that I shave. How Can I Take Care of My Skin?
    Ok...

For skin on your face I recommend that you exfoliate it once a week with a gentle exfoliate.

If you skin is dry you should try Burt bee's natural exfoliate in nectarine and beech wood. Or try to find one that has moisturizers.

If you have oily skin use an exfoliate with a natural pH level so it balances out the oil in your skin.

Exfoliating removes the dead skin from your face, but if you over do it, you scrub off fresh skin and that damages the skin cells.

You can make a natural exfoliatent by combining around a teaspoon of honey, with a bit of tooth paste (MINT), crushed oatmeal, and some lemon juice.

After you exfoliate, make sure that you moisturize within 10 minutes, so you can lock in some natural moisture from your skin. I recommend Cetaphil, it’s WONDERFUL!

Also, change your pillow case once a week. It really helps. How Can I Take Care of My Skin?

How can I take care of my skin after the gym?

So I started going to the gym a few months ago, and my skin hasn't been the same since. I've never had any problems before, so I'm guessing the sweat is what's causing this. I have a lot of blackheads on my face, and some bumps on my upper chest. Immediately after a work out I wash my face, but I guess it isn't helping much.

And if it matters, I'm 25 and weigh about 115.

when you sweat and don't wash you face those germ and bacteria are stuck on your face, try washing your face after the gym. just splash some water on your face and dry off. drink plenty of water too. and after or before your shower use some acne medicne to help clear it up more.

    hope it helps
take a shower after working out, cuz all the dirt of sweating is on your skin, duuuuuuuuh
you have to steam your face, like the sauna. and then wash your face. black heads are oil trapped in your pores. you have to squeeze them out after u wash and steam to open them up.
Straight after your workouts use the sauna and then use the shower and clean the sweat from your skin, cold showers work better

What is the absolute best skin care line?

for teenagersWhat is the absolute best skin care line?
Arbonne. I sell it if you would be interested in trying it. You get a 45 day money back guarentee if you are not satified. Do you have dry or oily skin? That make a difference. I have a teen line. It all really depends on your skin type. If you want to know more about it. Even if you are not interested in purchasing I will help you the best I can. You can email me with further questions. chasidy_adkins@yahoo.comWhat is the absolute best skin care line?
I'm going to be honest I haven't tried many but I know that Nivea Visage, 3 step program doesnt work. I've tried that.. it worsened by skin, but not by to much. I've ordered proactiv so I'm gonna try that.... I hear proactiv, and murad (acne complex) are the best skin care line. So Im gonna find out :)
Arbonne's Intelligence System and FYI. No chemicals, no mineral oil, no perfumes, no animal testing or animal by products. I can provide you free samples if interested.
It honestly depends on what skin type you have. And it depends on the individual, because products work differently for everyone. I would seek the advice of a estitician (sp?). They are trained to know what type of skin care is best fro all skin types. I have never had acne, so as a teenager... st. Ives and Johnson and Johnson were my friends. Then I began to use Clinique, and now use Patricia Wexler, MD from Bath and Body Works and it's the best thing I have ever used. She also has an acne line that my best friend loves. So you might check that out. But like I said consult a professional and see what they recommend.
ARBONNE! my mom sells the stuff and it is absoluly amazing it doesnt compare to mary k avon or anything there a line through arbonne called F.Y.I. (For Young Indivisuals) i use it and it so cool and really works! and its all natural so ur not putting and harmful chemicals or oily stiff. the makes up is great and vibrant too!
Mary Kay has a line for teens that seems to work well. The other thing I have learned is that you need to pick one skin care line and keep with it. Every time you switch it takes your skin about a week or so to adjust to the new line. In the meantime you will have breakouts. Pick one and give it a week if your skin feels good then keep going with that line. Any skin care should have a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer.

Does anyone know of a skin care system comparable to the Cinique 3-step?

I'm a poor college student who has been using the Clinique 3-step skin care system. Suddenly, I have lots of bills to pay and my reserves of 3-step are dwindling quickly. Does anyone know similar that is cheaper and perhaps avalible at the drug store? I love my 3-step and would willingly spend the $50 for it, if I had the $50. Why are ';Natural or organic'; body lotions and skin care so popular? Like Burt's Bees,Avalon.?

Are they really better for the skin? or just another hype? Why are ';Natural or organic'; body lotions and skin care so popular? Like Burt's Bees,Avalon.?
Organic and natural products are very popular because people like to know that they are putting natural things in or on their skin. Personally I would rather put natural beeswax lotion on than something with polyurethane, or some other thing i can't pronounce. Usually the closer you get to the environment, the more healthy something is for you. For example, organic foods are without pesticides which appeals to people because they don't want to consume pesticide. Same thing with organic skin care products. They are closer to natural. Why are ';Natural or organic'; body lotions and skin care so popular? Like Burt's Bees,Avalon.?
i use burts bees because they dont test on animals
They really are better for you. I have recently switched all of my products to natural ones and have already noticed a difference. This is a rule I go by when I'm buying products: If you wouldn't eat it, don't put it on your body. Another one is, if there are more ingredients you don't recognize than ones you do, it 's no good.
Organic products have more nutrients in them from the plant (Vitamins minerals etc.) and organic plants are not sprayed with pesticides. Organic products also have no chemicals in them. Natural products have no chemicals in them.
they r so popluar becaus they have a special ingreiant and also by advertisment shown on the t.v
They really are better for your skin. Most non organic products have either/or parabens (cancer and reproductive trouble causer) or propylene glycol (anti freeze. Just guess what that can do to you.) And putting that directly on your skin? Ew.

How to take care of my skin and get rid of pimples and stuff like that ?

i get break-outs on my face all around my lips and my nose and chin and it aggravates me. i got medicine from the doctor and i know it takes a long time for it to work but what can i do in the main time ?How to take care of my skin and get rid of pimples and stuff like that ?
take about four aspirin and dissolve them in a few drops of water.. add in a squirt of honey and make it into a paste.. you can also add in a few vitamin e capsules if ya like.. this can be used as a scrub, mask if left on for ten minutes, and a spot treatment left on over night.. it works like pro active.. i've used both and got the same result with each which is clear skin.. pro active dried my skin out, but aspirin didn't.. it's a lot cheaper also..

oh.. and pro active contains benzoil peroxide.. whereas aspirin contains salicylic acid ..

another thing i do as an exfoliate is i scrub my face with an electric toothbrush.. it's sounds kinda weird but it works.. it really cleans out your pores and removes dead skin, oil and dirt.. you can use any scrub ya like or the aspirin i mentioned.. i like to use st. ives.. and i do it about three times a week..

only wash your face when you wake up in the morning, before you go to bed, and after exercise.. excess washing makes your face produce extra oil..

warm water opens pores and cold closes them.. so wash with warm and rinse with cold..

and watch the make up you use.. a mineral make up is much better for your skin.. it doesn't clog your pores or cause break outs.. i recommend bare minerals..

drink lots of water.. eat healthy.. and take vitamin e, vitamin c, zinc and b vitamins..

i hope this helps..How to take care of my skin and get rid of pimples and stuff like that ?
water and vitamins eating vegatables with daily meal.keeping your hands away from your face, changing ur pillow case regulary and all dat.
okay this is what u need to do, people always say use asprin masks or tooth past yad yad yad, but that will dry out ur skin and create more acne, this is what i do i take a small towle and apply very hot water to it and then put it up against my skin and hold it there till its no longer hot do this 2-6 times a day. do not wash ur face with soap because this will also dry ur skin out, and don't dig our touch ur face. try using velocity cleanser snd face moistrizer, it worked wonders for me, and also u want to keep ur face moistrized but oil free, i also use bior nose and forhead strips to clean out my pores email me if u have any fruther questions
make sure you keep your face clean. That is the MOST important thing. Also, keep your hands off your face. Your hands are gross and will make your face into a big disgusting blob of grossness. Int he meantime, make sure you use it everyday, or whatever he said and wash your face 2-3 times a day depending on how oily it is. It will get worse before it gets better....sadly its the only way.
eat a good amount of healthy foods, because if you tend to pig out on junk food because of your face aggravating you all the time, it just adds more to the problem. the sugar will cause you to break out even more. in the mean time don't think about anything that stresses you out because stress also causes more and more breakouts. though everybody gets pimples, if you get it at a young age, you will be free of acne once you hit a good age. most people who don't get breakouts when they are young, tend to get it when they are older.
    1. Eat healthy

Instead of meat, choose fish. Eat plenty of veggies and fruits so you get enough vitamins and minerals. Do not eat chocolate or oily foods. Fish oil is good for skin, as well as any type of sea food. Sea weed is the #1 health product for skin AND hair.

    2. Clean your face!

First, use a mask -all neutrogena masks worked very well on my face. Keep it on for ten minutes, then wash it off with warm water. After, wash your face with a gentle foaming cleanser with cold water. Dab your face with moisturizer before you go to bed. The best one I've used is from the company called Biotherm. Obagi is also a good choice but it is ridiculously expensive.

    3. Makeup

Before you put on makeup, put on some of the moisturizer. It forms a protective barrier between your skin and the makeup. Then, use sunscreen to protect your skin from overdrying. Try not to use that much foundation on your skin. The best way to cover up pimples is to hide it with a concealer, not powdering your face with foundation. Whatever you do, wash your face at the end of the day!!

    4. Hiding a pimple

Do not pop your pimples!!!! It DOES scar your face, and it is not very pretty. Instead, use the Neutrogena 8- hour pimple gel. It helps, but you have to put it on about every two hours to work fully. After, get some concealer (get some good department store concealer-they're better quality) and put a little bit on your pimple. Make sure you get a concealer that's your skin color.

By they way, if you do have pimple scars, they'll disappear over time, but if you want to quicken up the process, use some scar reducing creams found in drugstores. It works pretty well.

    good luck!!
Before bathing, apply a mixture of fresh tomato pulp, honey and rose-water to your face and keep for twenty minutes before washing off. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/

For me a good brand is Cetaphil, which has worked well, it's hypo-allergenic and very gently. It's also fragrance free, which is good because it won't clog pores and cause blemishes. Another less expensive brand that works for most is Neutrogena. Again everyone's skin has its own preferences, you should do a test before trying on anything. here are my great tips revealed!

A facemask of egg white and honey gently removes the tan from your face.

Mix oats with honey, yogurt and ground almonds.

Apply this in your face, leave it for five minutes and wash with lukewarm water.

Cucumber is a natural cleanser. Mix cucumber juice with milk and use it instead of a cleanser.

Take 1/3-cup cocoa, three teaspoons of heavy cream, 1/3-cup ripe papaya, 1/4-cup honey and three teaspoons of oatmeal powder. Mix it all together. Apply on your face. After 10 minutes, wash your face with warm water. This is best for oily skin

For oily skin, apply a mixture of grapes, lemon and egg white. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with warm water. While lemon acts as a natural cleanser, grapes will soften your skin and egg whites will tighten it. Don鈥檛 be alarmed if your skin tingles.

Cut the lemon and rub the wedge all over your face. Leave it for about 20 minutes, then rinse off with cold water. This will refresh your face.

Avoid doing this if you have dry skin.

Mix honey, lemon and vegetable oil .This mixture is a good moisturiser for dry skin. Apply this mask for 10 minutes.

Apply the mixture of honey and milk on the face . This will make your skin glow.

Prepare a mask by mixing a slice of pumpkin with egg yolk and milk. Let this mask set on your face for 30 minutes for a glowing skin.

Mix half-a-cup honey to your bath water for soft and smooth skin.

Is it better to see a dermatologist or go to a spa for the care of my skin?

I am 27 yrs old. I work at an automotive shop and live by the water, so there is a lot of humidity. I'm a single mom of 4 kids, so I have signs of not enough rest. My pores from my face are getting huge, I get a lot of white/blk heads, my dark circles are always there. I wanted to start getting facials, but I don't know if that's just a waste of my money, or should I just see a dermatologist. I don't know which one is worth my hard earned money, and which one will work. I'm tired of these huge pores!!!! I've tried a couple of regular brands but nothing seems to work on my face....I want a smooth face again!!!! I am fair skinned and I just started tanning, and I know it's unhealthy, but that's why I don't know which one to go with. The tanning also cause my pores to get huge.Is it better to see a dermatologist or go to a spa for the care of my skin?
I'm a medical esthetician in Florida and have battled with my own skin with Derms and Spa's before being a part of the field. To be honest Derm's majority of the time want to directly head for drastic and abrasive and or medication when it comes to a skin condition. If you go to a Spa, please go to a Licensed Medical Spa that a physician runs and or owns. (Just ask them when you call to make the Appt.) There you will have more options as far as regular maintenance facials, microderm tx and or chemical peels that will significantly make differences in pore size and texture of your skin. These treatments are also more affordable and less abrasive than doing something through a derm office. Also, if they are licensed under a physician you can ask about the OBAGI system. Which is excellent for sun damaged, chemically exposed or just clogged problematic skin. This system is an all around skin type miracle worker. It is somewhat of a process to go through because it takes a full 18 wks to go through the whole system....but absolutely worth it. I have seen dramatic results in every patient whose been on the system. It has retin A and hydriquinone in the system. Let me know how you progress. Good LuckIs it better to see a dermatologist or go to a spa for the care of my skin?
i would see an esthitition, they are very knowledgable in skin care and can reccomend a daily routine. Schedule a facial somewhere, they are less expensive more pampering, and you can visit one often. It doesnt sound like you need medication like a dermatoligist can prescribe. you just need some advice and a little maintnance
well would you go to a vet to have your sex checked, go to the doc., i was there today and had a sun cancer removed from my arm, to many surfing days in the sun when i was younger
Go to the dermatologist first. She what he/she says and they may be able to give you medicine or the information to make your skin look great. Then ask the Dr. if you should go to a spa to get the extra. Dermatologist will give you the best because they are Dr's. Good luck!!!~~~~~~~~~~
Go to the dermatologist, then if you need it they can recommend a facialist.
Just invest in an amazing regime - I started to use the re9 regime last fall (It's like a mini facial twice a day) instantly my skin showed drastic results. I also suffer (I have 3 kids) dark circles due to being tired and anemia the cream in the regime helps. I'd invest in something like this instead of doing both.

A spa upkeep and a MD (unless you have acne) may just put you on creams with a lot of chemicals.
Spa's are only short lived treatments, go and see a doctor or dermatologist and drink gallons of water. Good luck
Either one will tell you to stop tanning, and to wear more sunscreen. Are there any unusual bumps or uneven freckles on your face? It sounds like you have oily skin from the pores and getting white and blackheads. First, you need to care for your skin - cleanse and moisturize your skin, and use an oily skin care product (whichever one you want). Cleanse before you go to be at night, and early in the morning when you wake up. Use a clay mask once a week to help with the oiliness. If you have any unusual skin problems, see the doctor. If you want to feel special, go to a spa and have a facial. If you have any problems with your skin, talk to them. They'll be able to guide you. Remember, no tanning!
Derematologist. A spa is pretty routine, so a dermatologist can help you better as an individual and what's right for you.
I would go to a dermatologist
go to a dermatologist a spa may make you skin feel better but a dermatologist will make your skin better
    go to both

What is the best facial or skin products for dried skin teen? Or any advises to take care of your skin?

I'm 14 turning 15, and would like to know which skin or facial product is good for me. I would like to know the brand and the type too. I have a dried skin ( some =times my face is oily), and I'm allergic to Olay and Pond's. I also would like to know any advise to make my skin and my face softer, healthier, or whiter (if possible). Such as put cuecumber or lemon on the face. What is the best facial or skin products for dried skin teen? Or any advises to take care of your skin?
    Hello,

I would recommend Ella Bache, If you go to a department store or a beauticians they will check out your skin ask you questions and then prescribe the correct product for your skin. Usually the diagnosis of your skin is free in a department store. The products are not cheap so ask them which one is the best etc some give you samples to try. I had perfect skin until my early 30's when I got adult acne, I used my usual products which made it worse. Afriend recommended Bache and I never looked back. I have 2 teenagers 12 + 14 both have different skin types, when they get pimple etc we use creme intex 2 which we call fish paste because of the halibut oil, but i always have a jar. If you can get a jar of this from Bache it also helps with the oiliness when applied at night. They also have excellent creams and oils for dryness. Its never to early to start investing and caring for your skin good luck

im 16 and i also have really dry skin. i use the jafra teen skin care set (the blue one) its really good it has a foam to wash your face a liquid to remove makeup and a really good lotion that leaves my face really smooth and moisturized. you can find it on jafra.com but if not i think vasaline makes some good face creams.
proactiv not only getsrid of pimples and black heads it also makes your face claen and fresh.
Cetaphil is a really good moisterizer for dry skin.
Vitamin E Oil is very nutritious for your skin and keeps it moist . You can find it in any Whole Foods store. Try it as it really is effective in keeping skin smooth and healthy , since it's natural you can not get allergic to it. Give it try and Good Luck!
i've heard some good things about proactive but i use clean %26amp;%26amp; clear oxygenating facial exfoliant...it gets rid of pimples but it also moisturizes, so whatever problem u have it can probably fix it!! good luck!!
allergic eh? well you could use something homemade...quite simple actually, you should have it in your kitchen.
