What is it about the language of skin care products that persuades you to buy them?

nothing i look at the ingredientsWhat is it about the language of skin care products that persuades you to buy them?
AAAAARRRRGGGHHH!!!! I hate it when they do that because i know it will never work. I have used nearly every Male's skin product and have not found a good one. They say on Clearasil how you get 'Visibly clearer skin from 3 days' It's all bullshit!! I am just using fresh water now and steaming my face to get rid of the blackheads. It's all natural and it's good for you. These skincare products will **** up our face later in life, people just don't know it.What is it about the language of skin care products that persuades you to buy them?
HELLO RACHEL,

IT'S WHAT THE PRODUCT DOES,NOT THE PACKAGE. OFF BRANDS HAVE THE SAME

INGREDENTS IN THEM AS THE MORE COSTLY ONES!!! READ THE PACKAGE.

GOOD LUCK,

misspiggy
yep I say its ingredients :)
Clinical testing and scientific proof that they work with photographic evidence, as well as recommended by reputable dermatologists and reliable patient testimonials. HTH : )
I stick to my old NIVEA and will only buy variety of products from them. Adverts about skin products really irritate me, the way the chuck names at you in latin mixed with english as if it is something magical.
I look at the ingredients and like things that have alpha-hydroxy acids in them. Oh, yeah!! eat that skin off, baby.
Nothing. In fact I find the language used in their ads rather silly and exaggerated, often way beyond common sense. That is one of the reasons why I do not buy them. The other is that there are plenty of natural resources like plant extracts and flower essence which one can produce oneself and use with great benefit for the improvement of the skin. They have also the benefit of being free from added aggressive chemicals. Our ancestors used those natural remedies for centuries and even millenia, while the skin care industry is less than a hundred years old.

And since the skin care industry produces products that are - strictly speaking - not essential and necessary for our life, they use that overburdened and often so totally unreal language to persuade the less critical people.
anythin that says no alcohol
dunno
that is a great question....

Most and almost every product says the same thing they will take years off of your face...a good percentage of the products cant do that. It all starts with taking care of your face and finding something that works for you. Dont be fooled that the more epenisve the better...that is not true. Genetics plays a large part on it as well.

Each product has to have one campagin out there better then the rest. they say they will take years off of your face. Women today try one product and are not to happy with it then they see another commercial and run out and purchase another one.

Skin care products are the highest marketing products other then diet pills and drinks. You can use a under priced product over an over priced product and get the same results.

Some women fall for name brand items...DONT DO THAT. If you follow a daily regimine of caring for your face you will see a result that you will be please with.
Its because they subtly suggest that you will look so good and that no effort on your part is needed, other than shelling out lots of money.
