My friend is having an issue with her belly button. There is this rash type thing that surrounds her belly button and she said it is extremely itchy. It has been there for quite some time and she cleans it with peroxide but it is still there. And she knows it is not a allergic reaction to her clothes. The rash is also bumpy. Do you have any clue as to what it may be?Do you know anything about skin care/diseases?
Peroxide is probably a bad idea and will probably make it worse. It could be a reaction to tight clothes or belts. She should make an appointment with a dermatologist and try cortisone cream in the mean time and clean in with something very mild and fragrance free like baby soap or olive oil soap.
