Does anyone have any useful make-up/skin care tips?? i have an oily complexion on my nose and forehead. and i want something that can help me get rid of acne and stuff on my face and make-up tips. do you put eyeliner on the top lid or do you line the bottom lid?? what colour goes well with brown eyes? foundation? bronzer? PLEASE answer my questions!!! thankyouu!!Anyone have any good make-up/skin care tips?
For the acne you should try a skin cleanser that has Saylicilic Acid in it, it will help clear up the acne and keep your pores clean. I use a Biore pore cleansing face wash (green with exfoliating beads)

I have an oily complexion as well and the foundation that works for me is called CoverGirl TruBlend whipped foundation. It goes on like a cream and smoothes out to a powder finish. If you would like to try it I would also reccomend Bare Minerals (I can't use it b/c I had an allergic reaction to an ingredient). Bare Minerals gives great coverage and the powder helps with the oily skin, it's also light and healthy for your skin which will help keep your pores clean.

I use eyeshadow for my eyeliner normally. I use a thin shadow brush and line the top lid (without going past the eye to create wings). I also use the brush and line the bottom lash line starting from the outside corner and going about 3/4 of the way in.

You are lucky you have brown eyes, because you can wear any color to match them. However you want to go with the color of your skin tone. I have an olive complexion so i use a lot of warmer colors. Just try experiementing with lots of colors and see what you like. Also a good tip, and something I do, is to use a darker color on the outside and crease of the eyelid and then use a lighter shade of that color for the inside of the eye, it creates great dimension!

You can use bronzer if you like, or you can use blush. I wouldn't suggest using both. If you are going to use a bronzer do not over apply it because you want your face to match the skin tone of the rest of your body lol!!! If you decide to use blush a nice light pink is always cute and natural looking. Or you could decide to use a color closer to your skin tone, like a light golden tan blush. Again it depends on your preference. Just experiment and have fun with it.

If you want some hands on teaching go to a makeup counter in the department store or a Sephora and get a beauty consultation. Or if you like get some girlfriends together and have an old school slumber party with make-overs!!!! Make-up is fun, don't forget that, just have fun!!!!Anyone have any good make-up/skin care tips?
for the oil- rice paper and loose powder like bare minerals. for the acne try pro active or the liquid make up that's for acne (usually located by acne washes). i put liner on the top and bottom it opens up your eyes, and i prefer the pencil not liquid. brown eyes are good with earthy colors, browns and greens, even purple. bronzer is good as long as you get the right color otherwise it will make you look dirty blush is a good choice too light pinks nothing too extravagant! oh and palladio is the best eyeliner, if you live near a Sally's Beauty they have it there along with the bare minerals!
Proactive is a really really good thing to use if you have oily skin/breakouts sometimes. I've been using proactive just because it makes my skin look better (and it makes it a lot softer too) As far as make-up goes BareMinerals is great make-up if you don't want to wear too much but you want to look fresh and pretty. If you go into any ULTA make-up store and ask them to help you find the right shade and stuff, they totally will. Eyeliner: if your a beginner in the make-up department then you should only put eyeliner on the LOWER LID. brown eyes? Brown in good:) so is a deep purple color, it makes eyes stand out. Foundation: BareMinerals. Bronzer: ULTA, just ask anyone to help you and they will.

Good luck

I know make-up is a hard thing.

but its totally worth it if you do it right.
Try a light oil free cleanser. Neutrogena has some nice ones. As for eye liner. Never put it on both top and bottom, it looks horrid and makes your eyes seem tiny. A neat trick is to only line half of your bottom lid, stopping about mid pupil, it will make your eyes look huge and bright. Use a blue eyeliner with brown eyes, it will be very pretty. Never use black, its to drastic. I like to line my bottom lid with the eyeshadow I am wearing that day, it looks nice and kinda gives a smokey eyes effect, but not as dark. Maybelline has a nice foundation, its the Pure collection. Its great for teenage skin. Its made with water and has no oils. They also have a concealer with salicylic acid in it to help get rid of those blemishes even faster. And a no shine powder that is really light. Stay away from mineral make-up it just makes your skin look greasy, like Halloween make up. Bronzer depends on your skin shade, I'm a really pale pink/ivory, so I don't use any, I use blush, but if you have a more tan skin tone, its looks good.
If you have oily skin try the biore line of moisturizers. There's one that combats shine and it works really well. I also use proacticve which works great for acne. I usually put eyeliner on both lash lines but some people only put it on the top. Lots of colors go great with brown eyes. I like purple especially. Just make sure you use a shade of purple that has some shimmer. If you use a matte shade it might look like a bruise. For younger people I like tinted moisturizer better than foundation. It looks fresher. sometimes i don't wear it at all. But if you want to, look for a mineral foundation. Bronzer is like blush. Just brown. Do that last so the bronzer wont be too much with the rest of your makeup. and put it on places the sun touches. (bridge of nose, forehead cheekbones temples)
Definitely want to treat your skin gently. Get a gentle exfoliator scrub (Aveeno make a good one), use an oil free moisturizer. My round eyes are medium size, so I only line on top lashes. Opens up my eyes. For brown eyes, you basically can use any color. If you skin is darker, black e/l will look classy, if you are more fair-medium, try a dark grey, brown, eggplant color. Even a navy will be great on you.

Foundation is fine if you find a good match for your skin and your skintype. Same for Bronzer - use a little if it works for your skin.
to solve ur acne try white and only white tooth paste! it really works it dries them all out but after they r dried out put conditioner on it i know it sounds funny but ur skin will look beautiful after a week or 2 maybe even days!

makeup tips:

don't over put eyeshadow or blush

only put eyeshadow on eyelid and under ur eyebrows but closer the the eyelid

and after u put lipstick try and put lip gloss

and for eyeliner if u used mascara u really dont need eyeliner it looks to dark

and like a bronze color looks beautiful with brown eyes

and try not to use foundation unless u really need to and try to use mineral foundation it works the best and doesnt clog ur pores

ask me for pics on makeup suggestions if u need any
cold water.
its simple just wash ur face daily with a good medician soap
I have the same skin as you, and the first thing is no matter how healthy and organic your makeup is, if you have the wrong skin care regime, it wont work. this is what I use and it works great and I always get compliments:

cleanser: Dove Beauty Bar Sensitive Skin (it is so plain jane, but makes your face beautiful, don't use cleansers with scrubbers - they pull at your skin causing more breakouts) after you wash your face, dry it off and use Clean %26amp; Clear Persa Gel. do this twice a day

moisturizer: now, the Dove and Persa Gel will prob. dry you out, but I use Nivea Soft Refreshing Moisturizing Cr猫me, and it doesn鈥檛 break me out.

eyeliner: for a daytime look, brown liner on the bottom lid is good, but black is also pretty. I use black liner on both my top and bottom lid so its up to you how comfortable you feel.

eye shadow that goes with brown eyes: shimmery golds, shimmery purples, matte darker greens, and yes, brown. be sure to use a bone colored shimmery shadow on your brow bone and at the corners of your eyes for a bright eyed look.

foundation: MAC StudioFix Fluid. It is medium to full coverage, wont make you look cakey and lasts all day. Make sure to use their concealer however, and apply it after you have put on the foundation,

powder: MAC Minerlize SkinFinish

bronzer: Covergirl TruBlend in Golden Sunrise.

and one more tip: use different brushes for each powder/foundation/concealer and wash them every night with Dial Hand soap (its active ingredient is Triclosan which is used in some face cleaners) that will also really help your face.

good luck =)
